Places to See and Things to Do in and Around Bedale

The Tourist Information Centre is managed and run completely by volunteers; it is well stocked with leaflets about places to visit both locally and around the region.  It is open from Easter to October half term from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. From October half term to mid December and February half term to Easter it opens on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. (It is closed from mid December to February half term.)

For a small market town there is a range of activities in and around the local area and they can be found at    www.visit-bedale.com/go/visitor-attractions.php

There is a Heritage Trail leaflet available from the TIC, blue plaques on significant buildings and interpretation boards at key points.

There are car boot sales every Saturday between Easter and October and an auction of antiques and household goods every third Friday.
